To the governments of Canada, Ontario and the city of Ottawa:
------------
Aux gouvernements du Canada, de l'Ontario et de la ville d'Ottawa:
We, the undersigned, demand that our elected officials prevent dangerous tar sands oil from being shipped through our city. A tar sands pipeline would create huge new risks and provide no new benefit for the City of Ottawa.
Click here for more information on the proposed pipeline.
-----------

Marie-Justine Roy signed 2016-07-29 10:10:09 -0400We do NOT want more pipelines! STOP these polluters pipelines and tar sands exploitation! We do not wan’t this pipeline in Québec province neither. Time for a real change to green energy! Canada could be a leader in fighting climate change, and pielines and tar sands are a shame for future générations that will live in a nightmare if government do not act NOW!

Steve Harris signed 2016-07-27 11:26:50 -0400As an elected official from Saint John, New Brunswick, I refuse to put my fellow citizens in harm’s way. The Energy East project will aid and abet the expansion of the tar sands and as a result it will contribute irrevocably to climate change. The guaranteed leaks for this pipeline alone are enough of a reason to oppose this reckless project. I have nothing but contempt for TransCanada, and the guaranteed harm it will bring to Saint John, to New Brunswick, and to the country at large. I support Ottawa’s attempt to stop this pipeline in its tracks.
