Earlier this summer, a team of more than 30 community volunteers removed 900 square feet of asphalt from the schoolyard at St. Anthony Catholic School.
On September, 15th we will work with the students to plant gardens where the pavement had been. The gardens will consist of beautiful native species of flowers and herbs. This will not only provide benefits for the environment, but will give students a softer, safer, nicer place to play.
If you'd like to drop by and help plant flowers, please RSVP below or contact the Ecology Ottawa Water Team at firstname.lastname@example.org
