Brown-bag it on April 10 to hear four experts talk over lunch about how climate change is being felt in their area of specialty.
These experts will have just finished talking to Parliamentarians and will share their insights with you too.
- Gordon McBean, an IPCC author from the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction will talk about risk and the insurance industry
- Maureen Bostock, an organic vegetable farmer will talk about crop impacts in Lanark County
- Vurayayi Pugeni, the Humanitarian Relief & Disaster Recovery Coordinator at Mennonite Central Committee Canada will speaking on impacts of climate change on development
- C. Scott Findlay, from University of Ottawa will speak to the health implications of climate change
