Tree Ottawa: September Book Club 2016

Do you love trees? Would you like to learn more about the life of a tree? Then you will love our September book!

This month’s book: Tree: A Life Story by David Suzuki and Wayne Grady.

Tree: A Life Story is a clear, concise, and captivating book, written by renowned scientist and environmentalist David Suzuki and award-winning writer Wayne Grady tell the life story of a tree, beginning when heat from a devastating forest fire opens thousands of pine cones and sends millions of seeds into the air. Most of the seeds perish, except for one, which becomes the subject of the book.

All of the books for our Book Club will be sold at the local Ottawa bookstore, Perfect Books which is conveniently located downtown on Elgin Street. Perfect Books is offering a 15% discount on each book the month it is featured.
