Do you love trees? Are you interested in tree planting? Do you want to save the planet? Then you will love our August Book Club Meeting!
This month's book: The Man Who Planted Trees: A Story of Lost Groves, the Science of Trees, and a Plan to Save the Planet by Jim Robbins.
The Man Who Planted Trees is the inspiring story of David Milarch’s quest to clone the biggest trees on the planet in order to save our forests and ecosystem—as well as a hopeful lesson about how each of us has the ability to make a difference.
All of the books for our Book Club will be sold at the local Ottawa bookstore, Perfect Books which is conveniently located downtown on Elgin Street. Perfect Books is offering a 15% discount on each book the month it is featured.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Tree Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unable to make this book club meeting? Don’t worry! Our next meeting is September 12, where we will be discussing the book, Tree: A Life Story by David Suzuki and Wayne Grady.
