Energy East Town Hall: All Risk, No Reward

Energy East threatens our water, our climate and our future

Did you know that the proposed Energy East pipeline would pass through the south end of the City of Ottawa? It would also cross the Mississippi and Rideau rivers, two important waterways for residents and tourism. A spill would prove catastrophic for the city and directly threatens Ottawa's main source of drinking water.

Ecology Ottawa and The Council of Canadians invite you to come and learn about the threat of the proposed Energy East pipeline to our water, our climate and our future, including stories from the front lines of the Saskatchewan Husky Energy oil spill as well as stories from the mounting indigenous opposition to this export pipeline.
